Update: Comment re Talmud.
Update: Article and comment on The MICHAEL JACKSON ‘Child Abuse’ Conspiracy: A Critical Analysis….
-- Beginning again after kicking off this morning. Now, into my once a week-off routine, have a drink and, Saturday. A propensity to get lippy. Reminded of Gore Vidal. Follows the quote used here.
"You know, it's not... you know... hectic prose, fingers are pointed..."
Man talking "a lot of menace around".
"I'll plug a book not my own..." Worth replaying --
Notre Dame and Sri Lanka somewhat awoke or reminded the public about Christianity. Discovering the extent and regularity of church building-based attacks can surprise and shock.
While in these parts 'Church...' seen as inept, corrupt, cocky, regressive, but hey, puts on a good Food Bank. Determined social action hangs in there. Gets to mop-up the ever-declining State's supposed welfare.
That's here, but over 'there' -- say, Sri Lanka or France, it's a different kettle and fish. Even among more/and evangelical pushing ongoing attention and outcry often lacking the prominence could expect. Not disrespect, more -- what can-be-done?
Often termed 'the suffering church' gets wrapped-up and spat out of the political world. Other 'religions' pushed as an opposition. When the militia of a religious tagged political movement.
Stir and whip-up religious crowds, anyone who does rabbit's know is hands-behind-hands-behind. Resentment and scapegoating, sometimes envy, the more persuasive factors than theology.
Read Isreal's The Blaze of Hate when it came out and set should scoop. Struggling to get on the writing groove.
Read the Aangirfan 'Julian Assange (right) and Israel Shamir' swipe. My thought: all-can but still respect somehow. Isreal writes good. And as for Paul Bennett. Be great to think they do some more combos.
It's dense and rich with much in few words. Pushes all sorts of provocative buttons.
Fire considered 'judgement' by -- some -- Jewish people over the burning Talmud incident 1242.
Or say... beginning of the strengthening resolve -- for the past 777 years -- to keep the influence of the Talmud at bay. Thus why Church and surrounding institutions grew and even thrived because of.
On the T.? Hear some say we should check the text ourselves and not overstate the Talmud. They question its use.
On to the rebuilding, reflecting tolerance and diversity. Over, proclamations of Christ and 'come to me'. While again, some-J's see battle an inevitable victory, the fire, symbolic of its decline. The rise of Judaism as reflected in society.
Then we get into the failing of the church. As normal -- always about sex. Leading to a call for 'France' to reconnect with your Church! Save Her and cherish Her, for She may not always be with you.
Symbolic-becomes, when reappropriated.
WE: add something to actions seeking to advance their dark ways. Destructive people's currency. Rather than a-God gives a sign, they God-think with, take chance and initiative. Set aims and schedule actions. Plot the numerical dots.
What of this interacts with unseen things/beings? Is about 'our' reaction and investment. Symbols are viewer-dependent. The 'spell' isn't it, but us/if. We are their power when we declare lies and deception -- or truth?
77 9/11 777 all this bullshit think power. No, we are hyp-no-'d.
And building matters. Heard -- know all hate -- Russell Brand. Must re-listen. Very good. Saw one crit on it. Was it Jessie Spots? [Rewatched Brando... F'in brilliant].
Buildings and the church proper is a relationship. In fact, Christianity claims all about a relationship. Stops short if it's [Edit: ...only] about what happens in a gathering, let alone a physical space associated with it. [Edit: Person and God, who is, x].
Whatever held the emphasis on the sacramental ('material object, thing or action') a building is something like the 'bread and wine'. Ordinary is extra, when something is happening, even if we can't easily describe, what. Something more than the natural. Something or one?
The law and sex... and abortion -- for the awake -- is about intent and direction. Making the Biblical case and God's view is not necessarily as clear cut as claimed. For instance, the base-line and is gay-love etc. ever right is a matter of personal conviction over theological certainty.
The obvious Gay-mafia's bludgeoning and attempted indoctrination of children is a certain no-no. Yet, the points made in this article about historical and cultural equivalency is discussion-worthy. What gets me is all the truth-tellers heating up on the Jesus score, near-on only yap about homo-sex or identity. Of course, see why and much should be said. But God lives in gay people.
One view and mine. It's ok. Can be argued.
Trouble is the use of 'sodomy' to describe what..? Anal-sex is it -- or all gay sex. How about the girls, what are they same-sex doing? When the term's derived from welcoming the stranger/or not -- and attempting to gang-rape angels.
Reckon, bang-on about 'S.' users... who love to make it the way to describe, all... same-sex whatever is about showing their supposed Bible-believing colours. All the while, where the questions, what the Bible/God, might or not, be saying?
Take it as God said it and so, it's Sodom this and Sodomite that. People saying this, aren't the expected, let's be trad.evangelicals. No, it's people who consider they dig one layer deeper than most others and what's going on.
OK nag over on that one. My ish. is the mass and majority who take, as an assumption, God is homophobic. More reason to keep that dusty old book in the corner on the shelf.
Mentioned abortion. On this was trying to get across how a pro-choice person might oppose legislation due to the slope it's slipping on and future frightening prospects. As with the death penalty, euthanasia and science on gene stuff -- it's enough and where it's going to fight against.
While depends what social order we find ourselves in? The more libertarian, more -- not where I live and that's my sphere and responsibility. All-am-saying; It's not the issue itself but the ground upon where it resides. Being 'against' has to consider the company or country living among. The controller's who care little or nothing about.
One more something from me. Suggest reading this informative and challenging article and 'of course, including the comments'.
The terrible blaze in Paris should be an ominous warning for the French: Reconnect with your Church! Save Her and cherish Her, for She may not always be with you. And who will save you when She has gone? The Church of France should reach out to the people by supporting the Yellow Vests against the anti-Christian government of Macron. His government did nothing to defend the Church and that fire didn’t come out of the blue. Macron is definitely guilty, if not by deed, then by criminal negligence. It’s too easy to imagine him toasting champagne at the news. We all should be wary of powerful people who are likely to rejoice at the destruction of our churches.
